Golf simulator equipment FAQ
A few of the questions that matter most before you spend money on a launch monitor,
screen, projector or complete simulator package.
How do I know which launch monitor fits my room?
Start with room width, ceiling height, hitting position and whether both left- and right-handed golfers need to play without moving hardware. Portable and overhead systems solve different room and use-case requirements.
How do I choose the right projector for a golf simulator?
Projector choice depends on screen dimensions, aspect ratio, throw distance, mounting position, ambient light and the resolution you want. We recommend confirming the room and screen before choosing the projector.
Can I use a touchscreen to control GolfJoy?
Touch displays can create a cleaner simulator interface for supported software and Windows-based control. Murphy Golf can help configure touchscreen, PC and display connectivity around the final system.
Can I upgrade my existing simulator instead of replacing everything?
Yes. Many projects begin with an existing launch monitor, projector, screen or computer. We can help identify what should stay, what is limiting the experience and which upgrades will provide the biggest improvement.
Should I buy components or a complete simulator package?
Components make sense when you already know the room and equipment stack. Complete packages are better when you want one coordinated specification and a clearer path from equipment selection to a finished, working simulator.
